Agency McCann Skopje and production house AdVenture, members of AMA Group, proudly standing behind the creative realization of the short film In the Shadow, made in collaboration with Halkbank Skopje, a partner that has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility for years. This project is more than just a film, it is a thoughtful and emotional message about the importance of nature, shade, and trees, conveyed through simple yet deeply sincere scenes that remind us of the values shaping our shared existence.

“In the Shadow” captures a series of authentic and sincere moments, all unfolding beneath a single tree on a sunny day, shedding light on shade as a space of life, closeness, play, rest as a symbol of everything nature offers us daily and unconditionally. In a subtle way, the film highlights the importance of trees not only as ecological, but also as social and emotional resources.

Campaigns carrying broader social messages always present a special challenge — they require a thoughtful approach, a deep understanding of context, and an honest message. Creative partners McCann Skopje and AdVenture approached this project with great responsibility, fully aware of the importance of the topic and the potential of the film to inspire awareness and behavioral change.

The film is part of the  HalkEco platform, an initiative by Halkbank Skopje to plant 1,000,000 seedlings across the country. But its message goes beyond that, it is a call to slow down, look around, and become aware of how much a single tree, a single patch of shade, a single moment in nature can truly mean.
